Compresit provides free, browser-based file compression, conversion, and editing tools, including but not limited to:
- Image Compression: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP compression
- PDF Tools: PDF compression, merging, splitting, conversion

- PDF to Image: Convert PDF pages to JPG or PNG images

Client-Side Processing
All file processing occurs entirely in your web browser. We do not upload, store, or access any files you process through our platform.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services. By using Compresit, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 13 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- You will not use the Services for any unlawful purpose
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
Use the Services to process files containing illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Process files that infringe on intellectual property rights of others
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack our Services
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Services excessively
Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers/networks connected to the Services
Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code
Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation
Use the Services for any commercial purpose without our express written consent
5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Services, including all content, features, functionality, design, code, and materials are owned by Compresit and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain all ownership rights to files you process using our Services. Since all processing occurs client-side in your browser, we never access, store, or claim any rights to your files.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to process any files you use with our Services and that such processing does not infringe on the rights of any third party.

"Compresit" and our logo are trademarks of our company. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
6. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- The content of files you process using our Services
- Ensuring you have the right to process any files you upload
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
- Maintaining the security of your device and browser
- Any consequences resulting from your use of the Services
- Backing up your original files before processing
7. Privacy and Data Processing

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The Services will meet your requirements or expectations
- The Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from using the Services will be accurate or reliable

- Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from your access to or inability to access the Services
- Damages resulting from any conduct or content of any third party
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
- Damages resulting from processing or loss of your files
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Compresit, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:
- Your use of and access to the Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights
- Any files you process using our Services
- Any claim that your use of the Services caused damage to a third party
11. Third-Party Services and Links
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources (including CDNs for libraries). We:
- Do not endorse or control third-party websites or services
- Are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices
- Are not liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of third-party services
You access third-party websites and services at your own risk.
12. Service Availability and Modifications
12.1 Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable Services, but we do not guarantee that the Services will be available at all times. We may experience interruptions due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.
